What I Offer

I offer personalized post-surgical and therapeutic treatments tailored to support your unique recovery journey.

Whether you’ve had elective procedures such as a Tummy tuck, Liposuction, BBL, or Facelift, or orthopedic surgeries like Knee or Hip replacements, my treatments are designed to help reduce swelling, promote healing, and enhance your results.

I specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a gentle and highly effective technique originally developed to treat lymphatic conditions like lymphedema and lipedema. It is also beneficial for managing symptoms of fibromyalgia, CRPS, pregnancy fluid retention and many other conditions.

Supportive Techniques; Kinesiology lymphatic taping, cupping, and Gua-Sha to further support drainage, reduce discomfort, and accelerate recovery when appropriate.

Cosmetic Surgeries

For best results, it’s recommended to begin Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) treatments as soon as possible after surgery — ideally with your surgeon’s approval. The exact number and frequency of sessions depend on the amount of swelling and how quickly your body responds. Every patient heals differently.

•  Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty): Sessions are typically 90 minutes and recommended twice a week for at least the first 2 weeks. Depending on your swelling, you may need more frequent treatments initially, then gradually taper to once a week.

•  Liposuction / Lipo 360: Sessions are usually 60 minutes and often require 2 treatments per week for the first 2 weeks, then taper to once a week as swelling decreases.

•  Facelift: The number and frequency of treatments depend on the degree of swelling. Most clients benefit from starting early and adjusting based on their individual response.

Orthopedic Surgeries

MLD is extremely gentle, making it safe to begin treatments the same day as knee surgery or knee replacement (with surgeon approval). By moving excess fluid (edema) away from the surgical site, MLD can dramatically improve your range of motion. This often makes physical therapy sessions more comfortable and effective, potentially leading to faster progress and fewer PT visits overall.

How soon after Surgery can I start Lymphatic Drainage treatments?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)is extremely gentle, allowing you to begin treatments as soon after surgery as you feel comfortable (or as soon as your surgeon approves) — often treatments can start as little as a few days after surgery. Starting early helps move excess fluid, reduce swelling, and support faster healing.

MLD is highly effective for both pre- and post-operative care. While many surgeons provide initial lymphatic treatments in the hospital or early recovery phase, continuing with consistent MLD sessions is key to eliminating swelling as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

This specialized therapy is especially beneficial for quicker, smoother recoveries from procedures such as:

•  Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

•  Liposuction / Lipo 360

•  Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

•  Facelift

•  Mommy Makeover

•  Knee or Hip Replacement

After surgery, the lymphatic system can become sluggish due to trauma, anesthesia, and reduced movement. MLD helps reactivate lymph flow, clears excess fluid and waste, and creates optimal conditions for healing to begin.
